Camp J Miami

Camp J Miami at the Alper JCC offers an unforgettable summer experience for children from infant age through 10th grade, all on our 23-acre campus. Our facilities feature a 15,000 sq. ft. gymnasium, temperature-controlled Junior Olympic pool, splash-pad, four age-specific playgrounds, art studio, professional theater, and seven hard-surface tennis courts.

We offer a wide range of camps to match every child’s interest, including traditional, preschool, sports, performing arts, and special needs programs. Kids leave camp not only with lifelong friendships and essential life skills but also with a deeper appreciation for connection, community and, Jewish values.

Is there a perk to being a member?

Yes! Not only do we offer discounted camp prices to members, but you also have access to the JCC’s 23-acre campus, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, sauna and steam room, Jr. Olympic-sized pool, basketball gym, racquetball courts, and free childcare while using the fitness center.

If you do not have a current Family Membership, you have two options. Your first option is to purchase a non-refundable Summer Camp All-Inclusive Membership that is valid throughout the summer, from June 1st to August 31^st. If you choose to purchase the Family Membership for the summer, a $250 fee will be added to your camp tuition and charged in full at time of registration. Your second option is to become a member today!

Are there any scholarships available?

The Children’s Trust: Through generous funding from the children’s trust, camp fees can be subsidized for families with financial need. The scholarship is available to campers entering Kindergarten-9th grade and campers with special needs ages 3-5.

If applying for Children’s Trust, your camper must attend all 7 weeks of summer camp (June 15, 2026-August 1, 2026). Please upload your completed Children’s Trust application, 2025 taxes, letter of need, and 504/IEP (if applicable) to alperjcc.org/trust. If approved, there is a fee determined by an income based sliding scale to ensure accessibility for those who need it most. With any questions about Children’s Trust please email youth@alperjcc.org.

What if my child needs accommodations?

We have two options for campers with special needs.

Tikvah is a program for campers ages 3-30+, designed for campers with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Campers participate in all activities, special events, and field trips.
Campers in grades K-8 who have special needs and need some support will be placed in a traditional camp bunk and be supported throughout the day by an inclusion counselor.

Yearly intake is required.
