Holocaust Impact Theater
Holocaust Impact Theater (HIT) is a unique high school student theater project developed by Ruth Gordon, a career educator. Students are taught the process of writing, producing, performing, and directing their own script, while learning theater and writing skills that will last a lifetime.
Students use the atrocities of The Holocaust as a platform to better understand and teach their audiences what happens when hate infiltrates a society. The students bridge historical events from the past with current social injustices. The goal of each production is to develop a clearer understanding of the need to obliterate these injustices while creating the sense of celebrating tolerance and diversity.

HIT fills a much- needed void. The program unites the efforts and energy of approximately 70-80 students, every year, from varying backgrounds, to create an important theatrical statement. The participating students are given a stage to voice their fears, thoughts, concerns, and solutions to these relevant issues that need to be discussed, understood, and eradicated.
This program is so vital to our community, please consider a donation to keep this show running another 20 years.
