Group Fitness
Whether you’re trying to build stamina, increase strength, get fit, or just feel more energized, we offer group fitness classes for every fitness level. Our classes are taught by certified, experienced, motivated instructors and include comprehensive programming for all levels and abilities. From Zumba and TRX, to Pilates and yoga, it’s easy to mix and match classes to challenge new muscles and stay motivated!

Reformer Pilates
Elevate your fitness journey with our Reformers Pilates Class! This class combines controlled movements and innovative equipment to target your core, improve posture, and enhance flexibility. Perfect for all skill levels, our tailored sessions help build strength and coordination in a calm, focused environment. Join us to transform your body and mind through the precision of Pilates.

Yoga
Relax, refresh, and rejuvenate with our Studio Yoga Program. We offer a variety of yoga classes for all fitness levels and abilities, from restorative to yoga flow. Increase your strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.
Vinyasa Yoga
Coordinate movement with breath to flow through a sequence of poses in an open class that builds muscle strength and soothes the mind.
Hatha Gentle Yoga
The gentle back and core-strengthening postures relieve stress and increase flexibility, balance, and mobility. This class is great for beginners and those wanting gentle practice.
Chair Yoga
Still your mind while building strength, flexibility, and balance as we practice yoga with the aid of a chair. This is a great class for individuals who want to learn yoga in a safe, stable way. This class is great for practitioners with any type of mobility issue or challenge.
Restorative Yoga
Learn to relax deeply and leave each class feeling rejuvenated! Blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps support the body in restorative poses.
Yoga Sculpt
Sculpt and tone your muscles while flowing through yoga poses.
Stretch & Restore
The first part of the class is a gentle Hatha yoga practice performed at a slower pace with some breath work and meditation. The second part of the class is a restorative yoga practice done with the support of props, such as folded blankets, blocks, belts, and bolsters. This class relaxes the body and calms the nervous system.

Zumba®
Ditch the workout, join the fiesta… We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity dance moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Set to upbeat, Latin rhythms, this total body workout combines all elements of fitness—cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility, and certainly fun.

Low Impact Fitness
The Alper JCC Miami offers a range of low-impact group exercise classes, including Water Aerobics, Tai Chi / Qigong, Beginner Pilates, Barre, and Power Pilates. These classes cater to diverse fitness levels and preferences, providing opportunities for gentle yet effective workouts that promote physical and mental well-being.
Beginner Pilates
Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength, and muscle balance.
Barre
Barre is inspired by ballet and develops long, lean muscles like a ballet dancer. Our barre classes incorporate dancing, gliding, and core and strength training exercises that will work all major muscle groups. Come experience movements from ballet and Pilates that will help develop long lean muscles, core strength, and dynamic balance and flexibility. This workout will integrate both standing and mat work along with using equipment such as weights, discs, Pilates rings, body bar, Lebert Equalizer, and other various props.
Power Pilates
This class focuses on the strength and flexibility of the major muscle groups and is based on the traditional studies of Joseph Pilates. The exercises combine core activities and breathing/relaxation. The instructor may use additional equipment such as stability balls or resistance
Tai Chi / Qigong
This class engages participants in a dynamic meditation session aimed at stress relief and addresses ailments such as chronic pain, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, and other conditions.
Core & Flexibility
Move through a series of stretches and toning exercises to lengthen and strengthen the body

Cardio & Strength
We offer a diverse selection of cardio and strength classes, including kickboxing, TRX Boot Camp, indoor cycling, and 20-20-20 workouts, catering to various fitness levels and goals.
TRX® Boot Camp
The principle behind TRX® is simple. It develops core body strength as well as joint and muscular stability using your own body weight.
Indoor Spinning
Our Spinning® classes are set to upbeat music, and our motivating instructors will take you on a "ride" that includes sprints, hill climbs, flats, and intervals. You'll love the group energy and can be sure that you are burning calories, strengthening your lower body, and improving your cardiovascular health. We offer indoor and outdoor class options. All fitness levels welcome!
Cardio Kickboxing
Cardio kickboxing is a group fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio.
Cardio Step & Sculpt
Choreographed to high energy music, this class offers a great cardio and strength endurance workout. Participants will step to the rhythm and complete upper and lower body strength exercises using hand weights.
20-20-20
Strength, cardio, & core work that targets the entire body using a variety of traditional, functional and strength training tools.
High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T)
Effective full body workout through a variety of stations such as battle ropes, agility exercises and sprinting. "Tabata" style training is incorporated, however working at your own pace is also an option.

SilverSneakers®
This fun, engaging, and active program encourages participants to increase their physical activity. Based upon "fitness, fun, and friends," the Fitness Center-based program incorporates social events with an exercise program that enhances independent living skills.
Silver Sneakers Classic
Increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a fun standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and an exercise ball are alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
Silver Sneakers Chair Yoga
Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.
Silver Sneakers Circuit
Increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a fun standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and an exercise ball are alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
