About Us
For more than thirty years, Alper JCC Miami, affectionately known as the "J," has been a true hub for South Miami-Dade. The J is so much more than a community center—it provides enrichment, education and recreation, all while working to inspire and bring together the local community. Through much-needed support, the J will continue to provide and broaden its quality programs and services, maintain the extensive facilities that cover more than 23 acres, provide much-needed scholarships to those in need and help the J thrive.
The J’s mission is to strengthen the Jewish and broader community of South Miami-Dade with engaging programs and services that are rooted in and promote Jewish values, ethics and traditions and that meet these needs in an inclusive environment. The J’s exceptional staff and dedicated volunteers, aim to do that and more by providing much needed services and engaging the community through quality programming and crowd-pleasing events.
Our Mission
To strengthen the Jewish and broader community of South Miami-Dade with engaging programs and services that are rooted in and promote Jewish values, ethics, and traditions and that meet the needs in an inclusive environment.
Alper JCC Miami proudly impacts more than 140,000 residents annually through its wide array of programs and services. From the award-winning Early Childhood Development Center serving more than 150 students every year to its robust Cultural Arts programming, including the always anticipated Alper JCC Miami Berrin Family Jewish Book Festival; and even its state-of-the-art Fitness Center, the J is constantly evolving and expanding to meet the needs of its members. Coming soon, there are plans to completely revamp the Aquatics Center and newly recruited talent is focused on enhancing various programs including Summer Camp, Special Needs and Youth Athletics.
This is just a taste of all the J has to offer its members. Enriching the lives of so many, it is a place to learn and grow, meet lifelong friends and experience the joy this vibrant community has to offer. Above all, it offers a sense of belonging and being a part of something greater.

Core Values
The Alper JCC was created by the Miami Jewish community to serve the needs of South Dade’s Jews. Its mission:
