Whether during the school year or over the summer, the Alper JCC's Children's Department offers highly recognized children's programming and our award-winning summer camp.
Our superb Quality Counts 5-Star Glen Greenstein Early Childhood Development Center offers families the perfect setting for their children, infants through preschoolers, to grow, learn, and appreciate Jewish heritage. For children and teenagers, the Kids’ Connection After School Program provides a structured yet fun environment; and our summer camp gives campers the opportunity to grow and expand their horizons. The Special Needs and Inclusion Program offers a fun, stimulating, and dynamic program for children, teens and adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities and has been widely recognized for its services as well.
The After School Program and Summer Camp are funded in part by the Children's Trust. The Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County.
The Children's Department offers a variety of after school enrichment classes that complement the Kids Connection After School Program. Children's classes are also offered through many of the Alper JCC's other departments including cultural arts and athletics. To access the Class Finder, click here.
