Futernick Family Art Gallery
The Futernick Family Art Gallery at Alper JCC Miami is an intimate, one-room gallery known as a hidden gem in South Miami-Dade. Since opening, it has presented more than 100 thought-provoking art exhibits featuring local and international artists.
With rotating shows at least three times each year, the gallery showcases a wide range of mediums, including contemporary painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, and mixed media. Every visit offers something new, making it a must-see destination for anyone interested in Miami art exhibits and creative expression.
The gallery fosters connection between artists, collectors, and the broader community, offering a welcoming, accessible space to browse, purchase, or simply enjoy original art. Extended exhibitions are also on view in Studio A.


Meet native Tel Aviv photojournalist and TEDx speaker Erez Kaganovitz, who will show a PowerPoint presentation along with images and stories of Israelis whose lives were forever altered on October 7. Humans of October 7 photography project is the continuation of a body of work that includes Humans of Tel Aviv, Humans of Israel, and Humans of the Holocaust, aimed at Illuminating the breadth and vitality Israel’s people. Humans of October 7th helps to bring understanding and emotional connection to the human stories of the Israelis who stood up against terrorism.
Erez has said, “I believe that knowledge is a great power for change. The first step towards multiculturalism and respect among different Humans is to get a better understanding of the unique culture and values that every different facet of Humanity holds.”
