Grandparents Raising Grandkids

All of us probably know of a grandparent who has been put in the awesome role of being the primary caregiver of a grandchild. Instead of retirement, they are now back in car pool lanes and teacher conferences! Come meet other grandparents in this same position and share your experiences. Meditate On It - For Beginners
Wednesdays, September 1 & 15, October 6 ● 10-11am
Special Needs Room

Meditation is the practice and process of paying attention and focusing your awareness. In doing so your mind quiets down and you may experience an inner sense of peace, joy and well-being. Anyone can learn the basics of meditation in just five minutes. Join us in our quiet place where worries seem to dissipate. We will utilize various guided meditations. AARP Driver Safety Program

Thursday, August 26 from 9am to 2pm
Berrin Family Library, Youth and Adult Building Room 510

For drivers 50 and older, come refresh your driving skills during this one-day course. Each student will receive a certificate which may entitle them to a discount on an auto policy.
