Sports at the JCC are many and varied with children and adults participating in leagues as well as lessons. Basketball, Danny Berry's JCC Baseball, martial arts, soccer, Swim Gym, and Jane Forman Tennis give Members and guests plenty of options to get up and get active. There are endless group fitness classes that you can participate in, and we are constantly making updates to our class lineup to keep up with fitness trends! From Indoor Cycling, Yoga and aerobics to POUND and Line Dancing...There is something for everyone at J Fitness!

PLEASE NOTE: Group Fitness classes DO NOT require registration; all Group Fitness classes are free for members. Guests must purchase a one-day membership pass to take these classes.

Led by our TRX Certified Fitness Professionals, our Group TRX Classes are limited to 12 spaces and unlike other gyms, are Free to members and just $15 for guests. Available days and times can be viewed here.
Private TRX sessions are also available at $55/hour.
TRX® is a revolutionary group training program integrating Suspension Training bodyweight exercise. The Dave and Mary Alper JCC has adopted TRX Suspension Training, a method of functional training that develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX® Suspension Trainer™, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to enable hundreds of exercises for every fitness goal. Created by Randy Hetrick, CEO of Fitness Anywhere and former Navy SEAL, the TRX was an invention of necessity for Hetrick and his SEAL teammates to maintain peak physical readiness while deployed in the field. The TRX has evolved into the ideal training tool for Fitness instructors to guide participants through bodyweight exercises to deliver a fun and challenging total-body workout.

Water fitness class combines aerobics, pilates and yoga!
The format is 15 minutes of aerobics, 30 minutes of strengthening exercises for arms, legs and abdominals, ending with 15 minutes of balance and stretching exercises.
