At the Alper JCC, we offer an amazing array of programs. We believe that Jewish life is nurtured by a strong Jewish community working, playing and learning together. All of our various programs at our center are designed to build this community and to create bridges between Jews and non-Jews who participate equally in our programs.
In addition, we offer several programs with significant Jewish content, including:
• The Glen Greenstein Early Childhood Development Center
and its year-round Jewish preschool curriculum and holiday and Shabbat programs.
• Our Summer Camp
has weekly Shabbat activities, visiting Israeli counselors, “My Jewish Discovery” programs, and a wonderful Jewish music component.
• Our Cultural Arts Department
offers quality entertainment and educational programs by Jewish artists, authors and performers.
The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School
offers classes in the Kendall area.
For a web learning opportunity, I highly recommend myjewishlearning.com.
You can also check out our Learn About Israel
page for a great collection of links on the subject of Israel. I also give a monthly talk about events in Israel. You can get details
As you can see, Judaism is central to our mission as we play our part in preserving and nurturing Jewish life and culture.
